Terms & Conditions

  1. Rental of Hired Goods

    1. The Rental Term is as specified when the order is placed
    2. The Rental Term runs from the date the customer receives the Hire Goods until the day the Hire Goods picked up from the customer by Moovabox.
    3. The customer takes Possession of the Hire Goods immediately the Hire Goods are delivered to the Customer at the customer’s designated delivery address.
    4. If the customer wishes to extend the Rental Period beyond the initial term additional charges will apply (see also clause 8.2 below).
  2. Customer Obligations

    1. Upon taking Possession of Hired Goods, the customer agrees to maintain the Hire Goods in good usable condition
    2. The customer is responsible for all loss, theft and/or damage of or caused to the Hire Goods whilst the Hire Goods are in the customer’s possession.
  3. Orders

    1. Moovabox will accept orders over the telephone for Hire Goods, subject to stock availability during normal business hours on a Monday to Friday.
    2. Moovabox will accept orders placed over the internet, subject to stock availability 24 hours a day.
    3. Should Moovabox be unable to meet an order placed over the internet for any reason whatsoever, Moovabox will contact the customer to advise of same and refund any payment made by the customer within 24 hours of the order being placed and payment being made.
    4. All orders are subject to a Delivery Fee of $40.00
    5. If the Hire Goods pick-up location is over 50km from the original delivery location the order will incur a Pickup Fee of $40.00
  4. Payment

    1. Moovabox will accept payment by on-line credit card payment via the Moovabox website.
    2. Moovabox will only accept direct internet transfer by prior arrangement.
    3. Moovabox will only accept Cash payment on Delivery by prior arrangement.
    4. Moovabox will NOT accept payment by way of cheque.
  5. Delivery of Hire Goods and Packing Products

    1. Upon delivery of the Hire Goods to the customer, the customer is required to examine the Hired Goods and acknowledge that the Hired Goods are received in good usable condition and that the Hired Goods are suitable for their intended use.
    2. Delivery is available only in the Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch regions.
    3. If neither the customer nor any person nominated by the customer to accept delivery of the Hire Goods is available at the designated delivery location at the scheduled delivery time, the order will be deemed to be cancelled and the customer will be charged a Cancellation Fee of $40.00.
  6. Cancellation

    1. The customer may cancel their order at any time free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the designated date of delivery.
    2. Any cancellation made later than 24 hours prior to the designated date of delivery will be charged a Cancellation Fee of $40.00.
  7. Return of Hired Goods

    1. All Hire Goods must be returned to Moovabox prior to expiry of the Rental Period.
    2. If the customer wishes to extend the Rental Period beyond the initial term the customer must contact Moovabox to arrange an extension of the Rental Period subject to additional charges (see also clause 1.4 above).
    3. All Hire Goods MUST be returned to Moovabox in good usable condition (reasonable wear and tear is accepted)
    4. If any Hire Good is cut, ripped, written on, excessively marked, has had packing tape stripped from the surface and/or is damaged in any other way (reasonable wear and tear excepted), the Hire Good will be deemed to have been returned to Moovabox in other than good useable condition.
    5. The customer will be responsible for payment of a Product Replacement Charge for any Hire Good that is returned to Moovabox in other than good usable condition.
    6. The Product Replace Charge is $50.00 per box.
  8. Price

    1. All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST).
    2. Prices displayed on Moovabox's website are subject to change without notice.
    3. Once an order has been accepted prices are fixed and any price changes will not be applied to orders already accepted.
  9. Disputes

    1. The customer agrees that any dispute or disagreement between a customer and Moovabox is to be dealt with and resolved directly between the customer and Moovabox by way of negotiation.
  10. Miscellaneous

    1. Moovabox has the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
    2. By placing an order with Moovabox the customer acknowledges that they have read and understood Moovabox’s Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by Moovabox’s Terms and Conditions.
    3. To the extent permitted by the law, Moovabox and its agents and employees will not be liable in any way for any loss, damage, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by the customer as a result of the use of Moovabox’s website, Hire Goods or Packing Products.
  11. Privacy

    1. Personal details entered when ordering products online will be used solely by Moovabox to process your order and will not be distributed or sold.
